In the field of pesticide innovation, cypyrafluone, bipyrazone, tripyrasulfone, and fenpyrazone were registered and launched in China in 2018 and 2020, respectively. Flufenoximacil and flusulfinam received Chinese registration on September 18, 2024. By 2030, it is expected that over 16 innovative compounds will be launched, covering categories such as herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.

In biotech trait development, KingAgroot has developed Flufenoximacil and Fluchloraminopyr-tefuryl tolerant traits, along with various new insect/disease resistant traits and new techniques. In gene editing field, KingAgroot has developed two proprietary techniques, Cas9-mediated sequential editing (CSE) and gene knock-up (KSE).

Seeds with herbicide tolerance, insect resistance and disease resistance will soon be commercialized in China and globally, significantly enhancing global agricultural productivity.

As of October 2024, KingAgroot has accumulatively filed 1902 invention patents worldwide (482 granted), with 81% being international patents.
