In the field of new agrochemical innovation, KingAgrtoot has succesively launched seven patented compounds: Cypyrafluone (CPF), Bipyrazone (BPZ), Fenpyrazone (FPZ), Tripyrasulfone (TPS), Flufenoximacil (FFO), Flusulfinam (FSM) and Fluchloraminopyr-tefuryl (FCA). Further innovations, such as Isoflualanam (IFA) and Broclozone (BCZ), are advancing through regulatory registration processes. By 2030, KingAgroot aims to launch over 20 novel patented compounds, providing powerful impetus into the advancement of worldwide crop science.

In the field of biotech trait development, KingAgroot has independently developed herbicide-tolerant genes for its proprietary compounds, Flufenoximacil and Fluchloraminopyr-tefuryl. The company has also discovered a suite of novel genes and technologies with insect and disease resistance for gene stacking, all of which have been successfully deployed in transgenic crops. In the gene-editing field, KingAgroot has pioneered two proprietary technologies: Cas9-mediated sequential editing (CSE) and gene knock-up (KSE), enabling the precise "customization" of target traits such as stress resistance and increased yield. As of 2025, KingAgroot had obtained three Agricultural Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) Safety Certificates in China. The company is projected to secure a cumulative total of more than 20 such certificates by 2030.

In addition, KingAgroot has established multiple testing and evaluation bases for genetically modified crops across major cropping regions in China. These efforts are steadily advancing the global commercialization of key traits—such as herbicide tolerance, insect resistance and disease resistance—in crops including corn, soybean, cotton, canola and sugar beet, providing sustained technological support to enhance agricultural productivity.

As of February 2026, KingAgroot has filed a total of 2,785 invention patents globally, with 655 granted and 266 PCT international applications. Of these, 63% are overseas patents.
