KingAgroot’s Huai’an Manufacturing Base will be Completed and Put into Use

Jiangsu KingAgroot Resistant Weed Management Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KingAgroot located in Huai’an city of Jiangsu province. Constructed with advanced technology, it is expected to become the new compound synthesis and formulation manufacture base of KingAgroot. At present, the engineering construction has entered the final stage and will be put into operation in July 2019.

KingAgroot’s patent compound Huanbifucaotong and Shuangzuocaotong were registered and officially released in August 2018, which brought great encouragement for wheat farmers and distributors who have been plagued by resistant weeds for a long time. However, due to the environmental protection storm in China, the upstream raw material supply chain of the two patented products were affected, resulting to lack of capacity to meet market demand. The products were out of stock for a long time in the later period of last year and many farmers and distributors complained a lot. Yet this year, with the up and running of Huai’an manufacturing base, this situation will never be seen again.

Jiangsu province where the Huai’an manufacturing base is located in is an important base for the development and production of global frontier chemistry. Comparing with other chemical industrial parks in Jiangsu province, Huai’an chemical industry park is still very young. However, thanks to China's increasingly stringent environmental safety measures, Huai'an Industrial Park has implemented extremely high standards of quality, safety and environmental protection from the outset. This is of great significance for stable supply. Meanwhile, the base is close to the source of raw materials & intermediates and enjoys the geographical advantages brought by shortened supply route, which will provide strong support for KingAgroot’s production and supply.

With an area of about 200mu, this manufacturing base takes synthesis and formulation sub-package of KingAgroot’s patent compound as orientation. Since the synthetic routes of new compounds are extremely complicated and high demanded, it totally costs more than RMB 400 million for the construction of currently the newest and most advanced technology and facility in both China and the world. The completion and commissioning of this base marks that KingAgroot has realized the leaping over from a R&D-oriented company to a heavy asset company with both R&D and manufacturing capacity.
