From November 22 to 24, the 38th China Plant Protection Information Exchange & Pesticide and Sprayer Facilities Fairs, approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and organized by the National Agro-Tech Extension and Service Center (NATESC), was grandly held at Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme of “Technology Empowers Plant Protection to Enhance Food Security”, the fair had an exhibition area of 130,000 square meters and attracted over 1,000 exhibitors from across the country.
KingAgroot CropScience Group (hereinafter as “KingAgroot CropScience”), as an innovator of new pesticides and seeds in China, made a stunning debut at the fair with its strong R&D pipeline, bringing a wide range of more diverse plant protection solutions for Chinese agriculture.
KingAgroot CropScience was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the fair, where guests jointly witnessed the remarkable achievements in the plant protection field over recent years. During the opening ceremony, KingAgroot delivered a keynote speech, exploring how to drive the sustainable development of plant protection through technological innovation, so as to safeguard national food security and agro-ecological safety.
It was KingAgroot’s first debut at the fair. At the fair, KingAgroot’s booth (VIPTA25) featured two circular main structures resembling large aircraft engines, which not only symbolized its commitment to fostering consistent innovation in the two major fields of new pesticide creation and biotech breeding, but also bore its vision to become “an innovation engine for global agricultural biotechnology”.
At the exhibition site, many visitors were attracted and gathered around KingAgroot’s booth for further communication.
Inside the left booth structure shaped in an aircraft engine, KingAgroot gave a comprehensive overview of its strong technological driving force. Inside the right booth structure shaped in an aircraft engine, 19 patented compounds from KingAgroot’s R&D pipeline (2018-2027) were displayed, covering multiple types of pesticides such as herbicides (including non-selective herbicides), insecticides and fungicides/nematicides, which formed a distinctive “space-time tunnel” vividly representing KingAgroot’s R&D pipeline. Many visitors came here to acquire more information and take photos.
Apart from the future R&D pipeline, KingAgroot CropScience also showcased ten major patented compounds, including herbicides like Cypyrafluone, Bipyrazone, Fenpyrazone, Tripyrasulfone, Flusulfinam, Cinflubrolin, Flufenoximacil, Fluchloraminopyr-tefuryl, Broclozone and the insecticide Isoflualanam. Additionally, the related application scenarios were demonstrated. At the same time, soybean and corn varieties with herbicide tolerance, insect resistance and disease resistance were also on display at the fair.
“KingAgroot is an active participant and practitioner in agricultural technological innovation. Its impressive debut at this fair has presented the industry with KingAgroot’s strong R&D capabilities and innovative achievements,” said Cheng Cheng, the General Manager of KingAgroot’s Asia-Pacific Region. In the future, KingAgroot will continue to expanding its product line, and also hopes to work hand in hand with all partners to jointly promote the green and sustainable development of the plant protection industry.
Currently, the plant protection field is undergoing profound changes. As a representative of the rapidly developing Chinese agrochemical industry, KingAgroot CropScience will always adhere to the mission of “ask science for life to relieve global hunger”, and continuously delve deeply into the two major fields of new pesticide creation and biotech breeding. Through technological innovation, KingAgroot endeavors to provide growers with more scientific, comprehensive and holistic planting solutions, thereby contributing to safeguarding food security in China and around the world.
