Shanghai, March 17, 2025, the 25th China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC2025) was held at National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai. As a global agrochemical industry predictor, the Exhibition brought together more than 2,200 companies across 130 countries and more than 50,000 professional visitors to jointly draw a blueprint for the future of agricultural technology.
With the theme of Scientific and Technological Innovation Lighting Up the Future, KingAgroot made its appearance with blockbuster innovative products representing the strength and responsibility of Chinese agricultural science and technology.
At booth 52H20, KingAgroot showcased its five major brand-new patented compounds which include the patented paddy herbicide Flusulfinam (FSM), the burndown herbicides Flufenoximacil (FFO), Fluchloraminopyr-tefuryl (FCA) as well as the wheat herbicides Cypyrafluone (CPF) and Bipyrazone (BPZ).
· Flusulfinam, a patented paddy herbicide, has become very popular immediately after its market release, attributable to its excellent effect of control of grassy weeds and most broadleaved weeds and sedges.
· As a PPO contact toxicity-based inhibiting burndown herbicide, Flufenoximacil has an ultra-broad herbicidal spectrum and ultra-high activity.
· Fluchloraminopyr-tefuryl is a hormone systemic herbicide with stable effect and long-lasting effect under low temperature weather condition.
· The “golden weeding combination” for application to wheat field, composed of Cypyrafluone and Bipyrazone, is of great significance in the history of research and development of herbicides for wheat field applications.
At the Exhibition, KingAgroot also disclosed 19 patented compounds in its R&D pipeline. By 2030, KingAgroot is prepared to launch more than 60 proprietary formulation products to provide global agricultural production with customized solutions.
At the exhibition site, KingAgroot’s first VR-created “KingAgroot on Cloud” attracted attentions of large number of visitors, leaving them an unforgettable experience.
Wearing VR glasses, visitors can “walk into” the KingAgroot R&D Center to have a special journey of innovation: In the laboratory, visitors observe the plants in the petri dish with KingAgroot scientists; in the smart greenhouse, together with KingAgroot researchers, “with our own eyes,” visitors observe the patented compounds acting against weeds, witnessing the effect of innovation, the power of science and technology.
As an innovator of novel pesticides and seeds, KingAgroot possesses strong R&D capabilities having made technical breakthrough in two important sectors - novel pesticide creation and biotechnological breeding.
In the sector of novel pesticide creation, KingAgroot has globally launched seven patented compounds – Cypyrafluone, Bipyrazone, Fenpyrazone, Tripyrasulfone, Flusulfinam, Flufenoximacil and Fluchloraminopyr-tefuryl.
In the biological breeding sector, KingAgroot has developed new seeds that are tolerant to herbicides, insect pests, diseases, including its own patented herbicides Flufenoximacil and Fluchloraminopyr-tefuryl, being in possession of patented CSE and KSE patented technologies, which have been practically applied to biological breeding.
As a new multinational agriculture and biotechnology-oriented innovation-driven enterprise, KingAgroot is accelerating establishment of an innovative global marketing network to promote deep integration of Chinese innovation with the global food security system, which will enable gradual realization of overseas technology localization and adaptation as well as regional innovation capacity building. So far, KingAgroot’s R&D base in South America and Southeast Asia have become operational, whilst its patented products have been sold in Pakistan, Cambodia and Vietnam. In the meantime, KingAgroot has initiated process of pesticide registration in Brazil, Japan, Australia, etc.
Moreover, in the circumstance of the challenges of food security and ecological security, KingAgroot is actively promoting its “technology going global” strategy. In 2025, KingAgroot entered into a co-development agreement with Nufarm for the purpose of commercialization of Flufenoximacil in Australia, which is expected to be a brand-new solution for Australian growers in the near future.
Technological innovation lights up the future. Through continuous technological breakthroughs and global cooperation in an open manner, KingAgroot is delivering the Chinese innovation to every corner of cropland that needs to be protected, providing new solutions for the global agricultural development.
